On this week's podcast interview Paul talks to Fred Nathan of
Think New Mexico about some of his organization's
priorities during the 2020 session. The group's focus was on
retirement security and, while one of their priorities did make it
into law, two of them (including reduction or elimination) of
Social Security taxes, did not get adopted.
Paul and Fred discuss the politics, policy, and history of
Social Security taxes and what he sees happening next. Finally,
they discuss the broken capital outlay process in New Mexico.
